FABRIC DESIGN | Lost Kingdom of Kush
Pattern design is inspired by the lost Kingdom of Kush (1070 BC – 350 AD), an ancient kingdom located at the Sudanese and southern Egyptian Nile Valley – now the Republic of Sudan. The ancient Kush sites of Meroë Island, Naqa and Musawwarat es-Sufra, contain one of the best preserved relics (temples, palaces, pyramids). The ancient city Meroë, was declared a UNESCO World Heritage site in 2011.
